Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
As a Lead Retail Analytics Strategist, your primary focus will be to enhance the success of retail and franchise operations across Europe. You will facilitate the establishment of uniform data and analytical practices throughout all key areas, drive improvements in data-driven decision-making, and eliminate redundant efforts, while also fostering a center of data expertise for the European market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate a standardized reporting framework for European Retail, aligned with strategic priorities of the Retail and Franchise sectors.
• Innovate operational processes, methodologies, tools, and collaborative practices by proactively identifying opportunities to harness analytics and technology.
• Establish an innovation roadmap, synchronize with Retail Senior Leadership Team, and ensure timely execution by closely tracking progress, outcomes, and milestones, while proposing solutions for any delays or deviations from the plan; facilitate decision-making.
• Serve as a catalyst for machine-based forecasting and other innovative tools/technologies/methods by delivering training sessions for the European Retail community, organizing workshops and learning events, and identifying & sharing relevant educational opportunities.
• Ensure the provision of consistent reports for all stakeholders, including Store teams, District Teams, and the Back Office Retail Leadership Team.
• Develop both tactical and strategic reporting & analytics for Leadership to support critical Retail decisions.
• Create new forecasting models and data analytics to pinpoint marginal gains in the business, specifically:
o Enhanced daily forecasting to drive conversion/SCM/scheduling opportunities
o Leveraging machine learning/artificial intelligence capabilities
o Improved correlation analysis on various performance-impacting factors.
• Contribute to the European TRNS4RM initiative to maintain consistency and continuity in reporting.
• Oversee the maintenance of existing dashboards and support leadership analytics.
• Validate data quality, develop data models, and create new reports and views. Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to continuously enhance data quality and accessibility.
• Proactively communicate business insights to the Senior Leadership Team and relevant stakeholders to initiate actions aimed at improving Retail and Franchise performance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• University Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of operational finance experience within a Retail/Fashion and/or brand-driven environment.
• Experience in project management and facilitating workshops.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
