Software Developer (m/w/d) for Customer Platform

We are looking for a motivated Software Developer (m/w/d) for our Digital Innovations team at our Kassel location. We welcome applicants with different levels of experience and offer a dynamic work environment where you can grow and develop further.

  • Development and programming of Front-End and Back-End applications for the customer portal
  • Collaboration in a creative team and with external partners to create innovative solutions
  • Contribution to the integration of individual programming components into a functioning overall system
  • Support in technical decisions and selection of technologies and tools
  • Design of a responsive and user-friendly customer portal
  • Implementation of security measures to protect data and applications
  • Maintenance and further development of existing web applications

Your Story So Far:

  • Studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Knowledge of programming languages JavaScript, Java, HTML, CSS, and interest in various frameworks. Experience with OfBiz is desirable
  • Curiosity and willingness to get involved in the integration of software components and database technologies
  • Experience with or interest in development environments, version control systems, and project management tools
  • Good German and English skills in writing and speaking
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving competence, as well as the ability to effectively communicate in a team
