Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Financial Controller to join our team. This role will report directly to the Financial Controller for Tech Centers and the Accounting Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly closing activities associated with project financial oversight, including inventory and profit margins.
- Prepare monthly closing documentation and present findings during results reviews.
- Ensure the integrity of SAP data input concerning project metrics such as inventory, labor hours, and profit margins.
- Monitor and validate the accuracy of key performance indicators (KPIs), time calendars, and capital expenditures.
- Lead monthly sales forecasting meetings, focusing on identifying risks and opportunities.
- Contribute to cash flow projections, sales forecasts, budgeting, and business processes.
- Update financial tools and indicators throughout the fiscal year, including capital expenditures and invoicing.
- Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and other administrative controls.
- Actively communicate with the Tech Center Manager and Branch regarding any potential risks or operational issues.
- Collaborate on the enhancement of new SAP functionalities.
Candidate Profile:
- A degree in economics or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken) and fluent in German.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in financial controlling within an industrial environment.
- Strong command of SAP FI-CO (preferably with experience in the PS module), KEOPS, and Excel.
- Able to respond swiftly to challenges and articulate viewpoints during workshops to support management in decision-making.
- Demonstrates independent, goal-oriented work habits while enjoying collaborative teamwork.
- Possesses a structured and meticulous approach to tasks.
- Exhibits proactivity, adaptability, and exemplary conduct.
- Respects organizational values, processes, and standards, and is open to collaboration with colleagues across various departments and countries.
