Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic / Mechatronics Technician (f/m/d) to join our Production Components (Laser Rangefinders) division at our Oberkochen facility.The Production Components (Laser Rangefinders) division is responsible for the manufacturing of laser rangefinders utilized in air, land, and maritime systems. Key responsibilities include the assembly, calibration, and quality assurance of these sophisticated devices.
Key Responsibilities
Verify the completeness and accuracy of orders, addressing any discrepancies as needed. Independently assemble intricate sub-assemblies and main assemblies according to production specifications. Conduct final assembly and calibration of the complete device. Clean optical surfaces and components. Perform wiring, soldering, and bonding tasks. Execute intermediate testing per established guidelines, ensuring the proper functioning of individual components and assemblies, making adjustments as necessary. Accept completed devices. Collaborate closely with colleagues and the team leader for capacity and order planning. Conduct quality assurance and document the entire production and acceptance process. Work alongside development, design, and project management teams on technical matters.Candidate Profile
Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, or a related field. Relevant experience in assembling optical and/or mechanical devices. Familiarity with SAP systems. Proficient in handling precision mechanical, electronic, and optical components and assemblies. Knowledgeable in soldering, crimping, and bonding techniques. Strong technical acumen. Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively. High motivation to learn and adapt. Strong commitment to performance and quality standards.
