Position: Embedded Systems Engineer (m/w/d) in the Field of Thermal Systems
At Truma Gerätetechnik, we offer an environment that fosters innovation, collaboration, and sustainability. We are currently seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer (m/w/d) in the field of thermal systems. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Requirement Analysis and Design Specification: Collaborate with the project team to derive and implement requirements, creating detailed design specifications.
  • Independent Development: Design and dimension analog and digital circuits for a diverse range of devices, including air conditioning units and thermal systems.
  • Creative Circuit Design: Develop innovative and highly optimized circuit diagrams, PCB layouts, and, if necessary, cable drawings.
  • Testing Specifications: Create testing specifications in accordance with the established requirements.
  • Implementation and Verification: Assemble, commission, optimize, and verify systems according to specification guidelines.
  • Coordination for Mass Production: Support and coordinate the transition to industrial series production.
  • External Approvals: Manage the external certification processes for electronic devices.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Liaise with suppliers to ensure project success.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee existing products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Project Management: Track timelines and costs effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Completed engineering degree in electrical engineering, electronics, communications technology, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in hardware development.
  • Familiarity with air conditioning systems and/or compressor technology is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of EMC-compliant design is a plus.
  • Proficient in EDA software (e.g., Altium Designer) and common simulation tools.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
