Drive System Integration Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Drive System Integration Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating the integration of both electric (BEV, PHEV) and conventional drive systems into future vehicle models.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead the coordination of conversion projects, ensuring seamless integration of e-Drive systems and traditional powertrains into new vehicle platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with project leads to define and manage project requirements for drive system conversions.
  • Develop detailed plans for conversion scopes in conjunction with engineering teams, outlining specific tasks and timelines.
  • Work with testing workshops to determine optimal upgrade paths and space utilization for various drive systems.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among diverse stakeholders through effective meetings and documentation.
  • Prepare release-ready data according to established BMW processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Contribute to the optimization of workshop activities by collaborating on conversion planning strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of hardware status for all test vehicles, providing clear visibility into system configurations.
  • Coordinate upgrades within testing workshops and manage parts inventory effectively.
  • Oversee analysis and repair processes following vehicle failures, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Proactively manage risks and escalate potential issues to ensure project success.
  • Represent project objectives and achievements in various committees, communicating progress and challenges transparently.
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field, with proven experience in project management within the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in utilizing key software systems such as SAP Everest, DAVE, FIPS, VDM, SWL-Cockpit, and SPEED.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license; BMW certifications are highly desirable.
