Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team in developing and testing control and visualization software for our rail-bound vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and experience with Siemens programming languages such as Step7 and WinCC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and test software for our rail-bound vehicles, working closely with our electronics development team
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers to clarify technical requirements and concepts
  • Create documentation, user manuals, and test protocols
  • Perform system and integration testing, as well as on-site commissioning and support worldwide
  • Provide remote support and troubleshooting services to customers, as needed
Requirements
  • Strong education in a related field, such as computer science or electrical engineering
  • Excellent programming skills in Siemens programming languages, including Step7 and WinCC
  • Experience with other programming languages, such as Selectron, Mitsubishi, Pilz, and Phoenix, is a plus
  • Knowledge of measurement and control technology, as well as industrial communication and networking
  • Basic knowledge of drive control and inverter technology is a plus
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
