Your primary focus will be to guarantee that our IT infrastructure meets the demands of our global enterprise. This position is initially offered as part-time, with the potential for full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities
Your main duties will include:
- Providing support for end-user devices and the IT infrastructure within your facility.
- Assisting with significant network projects, such as IT setups for new facilities.
- Proposing new processes to enhance the use of IT in logistics centers.
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues.
A Day in the Life
You will work on-site and visit various operational locations multiple times a month, potentially including international sites. As a member of our IT Support Team, you will collaborate with colleagues both remotely and in the office, assisting them with any issues they encounter. You will leverage your expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our platforms and implement projects for the maintenance or enhancement of our IT infrastructure. Occasionally, you may also assist in designing the infrastructure for new facilities, ensuring everything functions seamlessly upon launch.

Our OpsTech Solutions Team (OTS) provides ongoing tech support to all operational sites worldwide. Maintaining, upgrading, and safeguarding the IT infrastructure and end-user devices of one of the largest companies globally requires a diverse set of skills. Some team members are specialized professionals who assist in creating and implementing solutions, while others take on leadership roles to guide our tech support team in providing optimal support to end-users.

Basic Qualifications
- A completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, or demonstrable equivalent knowledge.
- Experience in managing heterogeneous networks with Microsoft Windows and Linux-based clients and servers.
- Experience with network infrastructure, system integration, and working with third-party vendors.
- Proficient in English and German (B1+ level) in both spoken and written forms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional industry certifications, such as ITIL, Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), Microsoft (MCP, MCSE), or Linux (LPIC-1, LPIC-2).
- Experience working in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
- Familiarity with common network and internet protocols, including management, communication, and security protocols.
- Experience in IT asset management and procurement.
- A valid driver's license.
