(Senior) Corporate Tax Services Manager (w/m/d)

Your Responsibilities
If you are eager to leverage your expertise to strategically advance the Corporate Tax Services area, here’s how you can contribute:

  • Provide comprehensive tax advisory services to our clients, primarily focusing on medium-sized enterprises (both outbound and inbound).
  • Your specific areas of focus will depend on your qualifications and experience, including:
    • Tax structuring advice (e.g., transformations, expansions, mergers, ongoing tax optimizations, tax-efficient financing, mergers and acquisitions, reviews of expert opinions, and assessments related to corporate tax law and international tax law).
    • Tax compliance (reviewing tax returns, assisting with appeals and legal proceedings, and tax accounting).
  • Act as the primary contact for your clients, ensuring the highest quality and timely handling of their matters.
  • Take on the independent management of advisory projects and provide professional leadership to project teams.
  • Engage in acquiring new and follow-up clients, expand your professional network, and contribute to publications and presentations at internal and external professional events on current tax topics.
Your Profile
  • To become a (Senior) Manager (w/m/d) in Corporate Tax at KPMG, you should hold a degree in business, law, or finance, ideally with a focus on taxation or tax law.
  • You have successfully passed the tax advisor examination.
  • You possess several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) in advising public entities, large corporations, medium-sized businesses, or family-owned companies, or in a comparable or preparatory role at a reputable auditing firm, tax consultancy, or law firm. A transition from a corporate tax advisor role in an international company or as a tax auditor in the tax administration is also welcome.
  • Additional qualifications, such as an LL.M. in Taxation, specialist advisor in international tax law, a doctorate in tax law, and/or an international experience, are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • You bring solid expertise in corporate tax law and possibly international tax law.
  • You have experience in tax structuring advice and/or tax compliance and possess project management and leadership experience.
  • You are a persuasive consultant with a confident demeanor and maintain a clear focus on your objectives. Your open and transparent communication complements your qualifications.
