Job Summary
Winthrop Technologies, a leading data centre delivery partner, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and installing electrical systems within our large-scale data centre projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all electrical works are carried out and managed in accordance with our Integrated Management System.
- Manage, review, and coordinate electrical drawings, as requested.
- Advise and guide sub-contracted staff on all technical aspects of the project.
- Prioritise and allocate work for the technical team.
- Ensure sub-contractor compliance with site and project requirements, including operational health and safety obligations.
- Apply troubleshooting techniques to identify problems and apply corrective actions.
- Manage document control to ensure all logs are kept up to date.
- Create handover packs and test packs for electrical systems.
Requirements
- Relevant Electrical Qualification, such as a Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- HNC/HND qualifications are preferred.
- 5+ years of previous experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment.
- Data Centre experience is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required.
