As a Senior Research Scientist within our Ultrasound division at ImFusion, you will engage in client projects, enhance our sophisticated visual computing software framework, and impart your expertise to both the team and our clients. This role provides the chance to explore various medical applications and make significant contributions to our framework using Python and C++.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing medical imaging algorithms with an emphasis on real-time interventional imaging as part of the Ultrasound team
- Executing multi-modal image segmentation, registration, and reconstruction utilizing both traditional and AI-driven methodologies
- Assisting in the commercialization of our interventional imaging framework
- Overseeing projects in close cooperation with our industry partners
- Publishing findings and representing our organization at professional conferences
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline
- Proficient programming abilities in C++ and Python
- Previous industry experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with medical imaging technologies (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, etc.)
- Applied knowledge of Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch
- Eager and capable of rapid learning
