Focus on Automation

The Automation as a Service team is dedicated to delivering digital products that simplify banking services for clients who require efficient solutions. Our goal is to create user-friendly interfaces and capabilities for both internal and external clients, ensuring a seamless experience.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping complex platforms from the outset. You will lead efforts to enhance our technology solutions, focusing on automation and the development of our key technology platform, which serves both internal and external users. Your work will contribute to the transformation of our Corporate Bank through innovative technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end client service automations for corporate clients.
  • Design, implement, and document microservice-based and cloud-native application components.
  • Write maintainable and reusable code, participating in code reviews to uphold high-quality standards.
  • Engage in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions within the team.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional agile team, sharing responsibilities and exercising autonomy.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Mathematics, ideally with finance or business knowledge.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development, particularly with Java, JavaScript (including frameworks), Spring framework, RESTful APIs, and databases. Familiarity with microservices, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and Python is advantageous.
  • Experience with Kubernetes platforms, version control tools, and continuous integration systems. Knowledge of public cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and strong teamwork and communication skills in both German and English.
