Accounting Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at DVS Technology AG in Dietzenbach. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including German GAAP (HGB)
• Perform financial analysis and provide insights to management
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

• Relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Professional certification in accounting, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting software, including MS Office and Diamant
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
