Lead Consultant in Data Governance (w/m/d)

As a Lead Consultant in the Financial Services Technology Consulting sector, you will collaborate with your team to advise financial services firms on developing comprehensive IT strategies, specialized business and IT architectures, and crafting concepts related to data governance, as well as their practical implementation.

Your Responsibilities
If you aim to leverage your expertise to strategically advance the Financial Services sector, your contributions will include:

  • Data Governance: You will implement intricate data governance frameworks within financial institutions, encompassing tasks such as metadata management, data modeling, data quality management, and data acquisition.
  • Implementation Strategies: You will support financial sector companies in their transformation towards a data-driven implementation roadmap.
  • Banking Control: You will provide consultancy on exciting implementation topics across various banking control areas (finance, risk management, reporting, etc.).
  • Efficiency Enhancement and Optimization: You will advise on process adjustments and IT infrastructure modifications, as well as compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Technology Consulting: You will tackle challenging questions regarding tool selection and their integration into change and operational processes.
  • Project and Team Leadership: You will oversee projects, facilitate workshops, and represent your team's outcomes to clients.
Your Profile
  • Degree in economics, humanities, or natural sciences with a focus on banking, insurance, or IT.
  • Extensive Professional Experience in data governance, business and IT architectures, or regulatory compliance, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Solid Knowledge in data governance (including tools), data warehousing, and/or cloud-based solutions.
  • Interest in Emerging Topics and technologies, strong presentation and communication skills, high degree of independence, and teamwork spirit.
  • Excellent Language Skills in German (C1 level) and English.
