Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Vorwerk Digital. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in developing innovative digital data products for our customers, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into our products.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust data pipelines for AI applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into our products
  • Optimize and scale data processing systems for efficient model training and inference
  • Work on diverse projects spanning natural language processing, computer vision, and robotics
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for technical and operational aspects of your deliveries
  • Contribute to and benefit from regular exchanges in our communities
  • Explore and propose new technologies by actively participating in conferences and training sessions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data engineering with a focus on AI and machine learning applications, DevOps, and CI/CD
  • Ability to excel in an Agile and open environment
  • Strong focus on customer value and customer experience
  • Experience in languages and frameworks such as Python, Pytorch, Spark or Scala
  • Experience in Data and Cloud Platforms preferable AWS and Databricks
  • Open and clear style of communication with the ability to communicate and interact internationally and with various stakeholders
  • Bachelor, Master, PhD in Computer Science or other technical fields is considered a plus in addition to your practical work experience
  • Fluent English language skills, German language is a plus
