Position Overview
This role is situated within the Fullstride Cloud and Infrastructure division, primarily targeting the DACH region. You will become part of a diverse team of specialists who merge innovative thought with groundbreaking technologies to advance more swiftly and effectively. Fullstride Cloud Solutions is reshaping the competitive environment by integrating digital methodologies with industry expertise to deliver superior business outcomes for our clients through collaboration with internal vertical domain teams and leading technology alliances and startup ecosystems.
The Cloud Solutions Designer will be tasked with developing solutions that distinguish Wipro in the marketplace, facilitate significant deal wins, and enhance Wipro's market presence with analysts and advisory firms.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Lead Cloud Solutions Designer, you will leverage your expertise to formulate specific and detailed solutions that encompass processes, technologies, project plans, and staffing strategies. You will spearhead the design of highly complex and revenue-generating custom service solutions by:
- Translating client IT requirements into precise systems, applications, and/or process designs for tailored technical solutions and proposals.
- Balancing the demands of sales and delivery to craft a solution that meets or surpasses service delivery expectations.
Additional Tasks Include:
- Collaborating within a Physical/Virtual team to devise winning solution strategies and customized value propositions for clients.
- Aligning technology selections and their integrations with relevant technical domains and practices.
- Drafting applicable Technical Solution Documents and orchestrating the creation and negotiation of Statements of Work and Service Level Agreements related to the proposal and contracting phases.
- Ensuring delivery and risk assessments along with corresponding remediation plans for custom solution proposals. Leading approval processes and review discussions to guarantee that all associated workflows, documentation, and deliverables are fulfilled.
- Calculating solution costs for all services in scope, including resource allocation, products, and third-party expenses, adhering to organizational standard operating procedures for cost modeling.
- Participating in the development of optimized commercial models that align with custom solution proposals.
- Extending responsibilities beyond sales into the transition and transformation phases through architecture review boards and innovation councils.
The Cloud Solutions Designer will act as a general service subject matter expert for both internal and external clients, engaging closely with Wipro and customer leadership to represent the complete deal solution in presentations and meetings.
Qualifications / Experience:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of prior experience in pre-sales, design, and solutions roles within a global organization is essential.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
- Conversational proficiency in German, both oral and written.
- Outstanding customer relationship management skills.
- Dedicated to meeting customer timelines and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
- Proactive in executing tasks independently.
- Self-motivated with strong coordination and management abilities.
- Adaptable to various situations in a bid process driven by customer success.
- Comprehensive understanding of public and private cloud solutions and technologies.
- Familiarity with workplace solutions such as O365, Service Desk, and Service Management.
- Knowledge of next-generation solutions leveraging technologies like Digital, Automation, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Understanding of networking and software-defined networking.
- Awareness of security considerations surrounding infrastructure solutions.
