Production Line Coordinator

Position Overview:

The role involves overseeing departmental resources to ensure the effective execution of manufacturing orders in alignment with specifications and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guarantee the timely and quality completion of manufacturing orders and products, adhering to established processes and protocols.
  • Establish production lines in accordance with the latest industry standards.
  • Engage in quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Collaborate in the implementation of Quality Management systems within the designated area.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement processes and value generation.
  • Coordinate with work preparation teams.
  • Facilitate collaboration between engineering and production for new product introductions.
  • Support enhancements of existing products across various departments.
  • Assist production management and other assembly sectors as required.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards regarding working hours, health, and environmental safety, while promoting occupational safety improvements.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to evolving processes.
  • Engage in continuous personal and professional development.
  • Participate in regular departmental meetings to share and communicate company updates and innovations in employee leadership.
  • Directly supervise assigned personnel in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Provide assistance to setters in all aspects of designated assembly areas.
  • Train employees for advanced qualifications and effectively integrate new hires, conducting regular feedback sessions.
  • Evaluate employee performance.
  • Implement vacation scheduling on assembly lines, balancing company and employee preferences in coordination with production management.

Qualifications:

  • Completed electrical training as an Electrician, Mechatronics Technician, Electrical Engineer, or Information Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems (m/f/d).
  • Desirable leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical measurement technology.
  • High motivation, flexibility in time management, and strong teamwork capabilities.
  • Availability for shift work (including 2-shift and permanent night shifts).
  • Proficiency in both German and English (spoken and written).
