Job Description

ING Luxembourg is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join its Operational Design, Control and Resilience (ODCR) department. As an intern, you will play a key role in supporting the team in monitoring non-financial risk and contributing to the development of operational controls.

The ODCR department operates in a dynamic and demanding environment, requiring a multidisciplinary approach and a global view of the organization. Financial and banking knowledge, procedural spirit, and excellent human contact are essential skills for this role.

As an intern, you will be responsible for conducting tests, writing test reports, participating in meetings with various banking departments, and reviewing internal processes. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to other missions within the department, such as sourcing, local process management, resilience and continuity, and fraud management.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication, coordination, and judgment skills. You will also need to be able to work in accordance with strict planning and procedures, and have a procedural, logical, and rigorous mind.

The ideal candidate will have a university or business school education with a financial, economic, or accounting orientation. Knowledge of operational risk and audit methodology is an advantage. Proficiency in French and English is essential.
