The Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) division stands as a premier business unit within the Corporate Bank, serving clients worldwide. This department relies heavily on its IT infrastructure to deliver services to the Bank's clientele. The team is currently engaged in a technology overhaul of their IT platform to introduce new customer services and enhance business process automation.
Our in-house IT team has already made remarkable strides in designing, developing, and deploying a strategic platform for the TF&L business. Building on this success, there is a strong ambition to advance our strategic architecture further.
Your main responsibility will be to create new user interfaces, as well as a UI kit and design system, catering to both the Bank's clients and internal users, while contributing to the technological transformation of one of the Bank's key revenue-generating sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate within business-focused delivery teams to implement new strategic UI and Backend for Frontend (BFF) solutions. Participate as a member of the UI core platform team, developing a UI kit and design system that can be reused by hundreds of developers, while fostering collaboration across the Bank. Maintain existing UI and BFF solutions, primarily developed in recent years. Provide SL3 production support, ensuring effective monitoring and prompt resolution of issues, including UI bugs, compatibility challenges, and BFF behavior. Deliver a top-tier user experience, characterized by a market-leading look and feel, embodying a spirit of excellence.Required Skills and Experience
Several years of experience in Software Engineering, with a focus on UI and Fullstack development (UI-only candidates may be considered), along with a solid understanding of algorithms and computational complexity. Proficient in Web UI technologies: TypeScript, CSS, HTML / DOM, and browser functionalities. Good grasp of networking concepts: HTTP, WebSockets, and connectivity. Familiarity with BFF topics, including APIs, data virtualization, and authentication. Experience in developing organization-wide UI kits and design systems, with strong communication skills within the team and across the organization is a significant advantage. Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential, as communication is a key aspect of this role within a global team.This position is available for both full-time and part-time arrangements.
