Astragon Entertainment GmbH is a renowned German games developer, publisher, and distributor of sophisticated 'working' simulation games. Our focus is on non-violent cooperative gameplay with very detailed, technical, and realistic environments. Our internationally well-known IPs include Construction Simulator, Bus Simulator, Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, and Firefighting Simulator.

We are seeking a highly skilled Regular/Senior Producer (f/m/d) to join our team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for all production aspects of game projects, from the initial pitch to gold master.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with external development studios
  • Provide creative direction to improve product quality and innovation
  • Manage development and milestone schedules, ensuring timely delivery
  • Collaborate with publishing operations, including QA, localization, age ratings, and platform submissions
  • Report on project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues as necessary
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and PR to promote our products
Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in video game production
  • Experience in game development and release for PC and consoles (PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch)
  • Strong technical understanding of game development processes
  • Experience with project management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Bug Tracker, JIRA, Confluence, MS Office)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to take ownership and drive projects forward despite obstacles
