Academic Writing Lecturer for Foundation Year

We are looking for a qualified and experienced educator to take on the role of Academic Writing & Speaking lecturer. The selected individual will be tasked with the development and delivery of course content tailored for Foundation Year students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the Academic Writing & Speaking curriculum
  • Develop engaging lesson plans and conduct regular assessments, including quizzes, presentations, essays, and group discussions
  • Ensure that instructional materials and teaching methods align with the objectives of the department
  • Provide personalized support and guidance to students to facilitate their academic progress

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree or higher in Education, English Language Teaching, or a related discipline
  • Possession of TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, or EAP certifications from recognized institutions is advantageous
  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, ideally at the high school or undergraduate level
  • Fluency in English at a native or near-native proficiency
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • A strong dedication to fostering student success and maintaining academic standards
