Your Role as Data Capabilities & Governance Working Student
As part of our Data Capabilities & Governance Team, you will play a vital role in empowering colleagues across the organization with essential data and analytics skills. You will contribute to building a robust data ecosystem that fosters informed decision-making and drives innovation.
- Data Catalog Enhancement: Contribute to the development of our Collibra-based Data Catalog by establishing data pipelines, integrating new data sources, and implementing innovative features.
- Learning & Development: Create engaging learning materials on data science, visualization, analytics, and data governance. This includes developing internal articles, video tutorials, presentations, and best practice guides to educate colleagues.
- Enablement Initiatives: Take ownership of implementing impactful data-related events and enablement programs that foster a culture of data literacy within the organization.
- Data Governance & Quality: Review and propose improvements to our Data Quality and Data Governance practices. Develop key metrics to track data quality, tool usage, and overall effectiveness of our data governance framework.
- Community Engagement: Create and maintain content for our Data & Analytics Hub, actively engaging with the Data & Analytics Community and promoting knowledge sharing.
Your Qualifications
- You are currently pursuing a full-time degree in (business) informatics, data science, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
- You possess a fundamental understanding of databases and data structures. Familiarity with concepts like tables, columns, and relationships is essential.
- You demonstrate a strong interest in learning and adapting to evolving Data Governance practices, metadata management, and related topics.
- You are comfortable working with technology and have proficiency in tools such as Python, SQL, Collibra, or visualization platforms (QlikSense, Power BI).
- You enjoy creating visually appealing and informative enablement materials and possess a passion for teaching and empowering others on Data Science and Analytics topics.
- You are highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
