About the Job

We're seeking a motivated Business Development Graduate to join one of our portfolio companies and support its growth and market expansion strategies. In your day-to-day work, you'll ensure that our portfolio company's business-critical services are optimized and contribute to various projects.

The company is a trailblazing marketplace that redefines one of the largest supply chains on earth. Its mission is to unlock the vast potential of cross-border supply for the Western Market by providing global access to high-quality products through its innovative platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Growth & Business Development: Identify potential partnerships, build a revenue pipeline, and explore growth opportunities for the company
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats in the industry. Provide insights and recommendations to guide decision-making
  • Operational Support: Assist in day-to-day operational tasks, including project management, team coordination, and resource allocation
  • Team Building: Play a role in building and nurturing a high-performing team by participating in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement activities
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between different teams (Operations, Procurement) and the founding team, ensuring effective communication and alignment of goals
Your Profile
  • You are curious and passionate about hyper-growth startups
  • You want to change a traditional industry together with an international team
  • You have strong analytical and communication skills - you have ability to clearly articulate complex subject materials
  • You possess a Hands-on mentality - only the implementation satisfies you
  • You possess a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business or a related field
  • You bring first experience in a highly competitive and fast-paced environment such as Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, or a high-growth startup
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English

Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
