Position Overview
The successful candidate will possess substantial experience as an SAP PP Inhouse Consultant, particularly within the manufacturing domain. A solid understanding of SAP PP, along with its integration with various logistics modules, is essential. This role is designed for an individual who is not only technically adept but also enthusiastic about engaging in both strategic initiatives and routine operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the deployment of SAP PP at new sites, ensuring effective implementation and user engagement.
- Tailor and configure SAP PP to align with specific operational needs and enhance manufacturing workflows.
- Work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams to guarantee the smooth integration of SAP PP with other logistics modules, including MM, SD, and QM.
- Deliver expert assistance for SAP PP interfaces, maintaining data integrity and reliability across systems.
- Contribute to the global SAP S/4HANA implementation project, participating in design, testing, and deployment phases.
- Diagnose and resolve SAP PP-related issues, providing hands-on support and guidance to users.
- Keep abreast of the latest SAP technologies and industry developments, advocating for and implementing best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience in SAP PP within the manufacturing sector.
- Fluency in German, with strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and users.
- Comprehensive understanding of SAP PP and its integration with other logistics modules (MM, SD, QM).
- Experience with SAP MES is advantageous, or a strong interest in acquiring knowledge of SAP MES.
- Demonstrated ability to customize and configure SAP PP to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience leading SAP PP projects from initial requirements gathering through to go-live and ongoing support.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
