Position Overview:
  • Innovate and advance plasma source technologies aimed at multi-GeV electron acceleration.
  • Plan and conduct experiments utilizing high-power laser systems.
  • Document, analyze, and present findings for publication in esteemed scientific journals and at various conferences.
  • Mentor students and collaborate with peers in the plasma accelerator field, both within the organization and with external partners.

Duration: 3 years

Candidate Profile:
  • Doctorate in physics or a related field.
  • Expertise in laser-plasma physics or plasma acceleration technologies.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing high-power laser-plasma experiments.
  • Familiarity with plasma waveguides is advantageous.
  • Proficient in a scientific programming language (Python, Matlab, C++, etc.).
  • Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
