About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer C++ to join our team at TeamViewer. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing platform-independent functionalities for our client and services using the latest standards of C++.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality C++ code for our client and services
  • Optimize and enhance our software with new, efficient algorithms and technologies
  • Collaborate with our Scrum development team in a continuous integration environment
  • Ensure efficient implementation and code quality
  • Recommend and implement improvements to architecture and technologies to enhance our systems and codebase
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments in C++ and initiate improvements
  • Advise product owners on feasibility studies and time estimates for new functionality

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in object-oriented software development using C++ (C++ 14 or above) and design patterns
  • Desirable experience in parallel programming, distributed and scalable systems, security, SQL, CQL, or network communication
  • Structured and analytical thinking, team player, and motivated to learn new things
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, German is a plus
