Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful trial execution
- Oversee the preparation of project deliverables, including study plans, protocols, and clinical study reports
- Ensure that all project activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors and clients
- Provide regular updates on trial progress and address any concerns or issues that may arise
- Lead client calls and meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of project coordinators, assistants, and other stakeholders
- Ensure that all team members have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively
- Collaborate with internal teams, including regulatory affairs, data management, and clinical monitoring
- Quality and Risk Management
- Ensure that all trial activities are conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) standards
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful trial execution
- Monitor and report on trial quality and performance
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including sponsors, clients, and vendors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless trial execution
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as clinical research, life sciences, or healthcare
- Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in clinical research, with a minimum of 3 years in a CRO or pharmaceutical company
- Proven experience in project management, with a focus on clinical trials
- Experience in managing global clinical trials, including multiple regions and languages
- Skills
- Excellent knowledge of GCP and ICH standards
- Strong project management skills, with experience in developing and implementing project plans and timelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global environment
