About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Stadtwerke Dessau. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and mitigating risks to ensure the long-term success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and assess risks across various business areas
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize risks and optimize value creation
  • Review, develop, and monitor processes and interfaces to minimize risks
  • Develop and improve risk models and monitor and control risks
  • Analyze risks and their potential impacts
  • Develop stress scenarios to evaluate the resilience of our company against extreme events
Requirements
  • Completed higher education in a relevant field (e.g., Bachelor's degree)
  • Portfolio Manager training for electricity and gas
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the field of risk management
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of necessary software applications (e.g., SAP, BelVis, ResOpt)
  • Analytical and strategic thinking
  • Proficiency in common MS Office programs
  • Participation in on-call duty, according to company regulations, and possession of a valid driver's license
