We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Forwarding Specialist to join our team at esteem Personaldienstleistungen GmbH. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for planning and executing tours, selling freight capacity, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and Unloading Planning: Utilize our freight forwarding software to plan and optimize loading and unloading operations.
- Sales and Marketing: Sell freight capacity for refrigerated transports and develop strategies to increase sales.
- Tour Assignment: Assign tours to the dispatch department of our own fleet, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, partners, and customers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service to maintain a positive reputation.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain accurate documentation and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Education: Completed apprenticeship as a management assistant for freight forwarding and logistics (freight forwarding clerk).
- Experience: Desirable: Experience in dispatching national transport.
- Skills: Good geographical knowledge, solid MS Office skills, effective communication skills, friendly assertiveness, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic.
- Language Skills: Good German skills; English and Polish skills are advantageous.
