Job Summary

We are looking for a Cloud Architect to design and implement our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering, architecture, and technology, with experience in container-based microservices and IoT/big data architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure for Viega Cloud applications, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain container-based microservices architecture and central IoT/big data architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with cloud application guidelines and standards.
  • Coordinate technical aspects of internal and external development projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Cloud Architect, or Solution Architect.
  • Strong background in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies, including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Fluency in German (C1/C2) and English (B2).
