Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Specialist to join our team at VPL Personal Leasing GmbH. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and materials within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehousing and Inventory Management
    • Receive and inspect incoming goods for damage or defects
    • Accurately record and store inventory in a timely manner
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Order Fulfillment and Shipping
    • Pick and pack orders in a timely and accurate manner
    • Prepare and ship orders to customers and internal departments
    • Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and complete
  • Supply Chain Coordination
    • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking
    • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Conduct regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
    • Identify and report any quality issues or defects
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Relevant degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software
