About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Science Team Lead to join our Marketing Analytics Engineering team at Vinted. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a talented team of Analytics Engineers and driving the development of our marketing data model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Analytics Engineers to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our marketing data model.
  • Develop and implement a roadmap for the team to ensure alignment with stakeholder needs and other marketing data teams.
  • Lead the migration of our marketing data model to Google Cloud Platform.
  • Own the marketing data pipelines, ensuring data compatibility and accuracy.
  • Scale our data stack efficiently to manage growth and increased complexity.
  • Raise data quality standards by introducing best Analytics Engineering practices.
  • Co-create effectively with peer people leaders, analytics engineers, and data scientists to ensure robust and accurate data pipelines.
  • Drive data governance and quality frameworks to ensure the integrity of marketing efficiency data.
About You
  • Proven experience in managing large and long-term data projects.
  • Outstanding business acumen, analytical skills, and long-term planning skills.
  • Well-organised with a collaborative attitude and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Exceptional understanding of SQL and experience with dashboarding tools.
  • Experience with complex ROI or marketing efficiency performance reporting models.
  • Solid knowledge of at least one statistical programming language.
  • Familiarity with data modelling frameworks for analytical purposes.
  • Excellent English communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
