OVERVIEW
At BASF Services Europe GmbH, we provide comprehensive support to our divisions through a robust cross-functional network, delivering innovative solutions tailored to meet business requirements. Our specialized service unit is dedicated to ensuring exceptional customer service while designing our offerings to be collaborative, efficient, and forward-thinking.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Our team is tasked with ensuring the accurate customs clearance of imported raw materials, goods, and technical equipment.
- You will oversee the delivery and customs clearance of import shipments from non-EU countries, ensuring compliance for all transport modes.
- Your role includes verifying customs invoices and tax assessments from external service providers, as well as liaising with internal departments, suppliers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel.
- You will prepare all necessary customs documentation and assist with both internal and external audits.
- Additionally, you will provide customs guidance and support to various divisions and group entities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed vocational training.
- Initial professional experience in foreign trade, including import and export operations.
- Proficiency in standard IT applications and basic knowledge of SAP.
- Familiarity with SAP GTS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
