About the Role

At Amazon EU SARL (Germany Branch), we are continuously seeking innovative ways to enhance our global operations. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in redefining and advancing our operational processes. You will spearhead the development and execution of new initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will manage ongoing programs, identifying opportunities for enhancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate programs, track performance indicators, and provide updates on critical objectives impacting deliverables.
  • Analyze data to identify operational challenges and develop continuous improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate with various Amazon departments to discover and implement best practices.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team within a program framework to address challenges and drive progress.
  • Oversee stakeholder engagement and internal processes, establishing clear standards.
A Day in the Life

As a Supply Chain Manager, your responsibilities will include planning, executing, and refining initiatives that ensure seamless operations.

You will collaborate closely with a diverse group of Amazon colleagues to gain insights into their workflows, sharing your expertise while learning from theirs.

Together, you will uncover exciting new opportunities and take charge of their implementation.

Your role will be crucial in guiding your teams and colleagues to achieve significant deliverables while actively seeking data-driven methods for improvement.

About the Team

The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is essential for our rapid delivery capabilities. By joining ATS, you will become part of a diverse group that is integral to our success.

Utilizing air, sea, and road transport, along with state-of-the-art sortation centers, you will contribute to maximizing the efficiency of Amazon's logistics operations.

Our team harnesses data to inform decision-making, playing a vital role in enhancing Amazon's innovation and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications
  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional programs or projects utilizing project management methodologies.
  • Experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects involving a diverse range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional context.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced or master's degree.
  • Project management certification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Experience in an operational environment or with technical teams.
