Position Overview

Job Title: Data Management Specialist

Location: Dublin

Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President

Data serves as a crucial facilitator in the growth strategy of the Corporate Bank (CB), supporting various product initiatives that are vital to the overall strategic direction of the division. This position is situated within the CB Data Services team, collaborating with a group of specialists in data governance to assist our business units, implement best practices in our outputs, foster ongoing enhancements, automate reporting processes, and expedite the utilization of data in achieving our business goals.

Reporting Structure: You will report directly to the Head of Data Management and will be tasked with overseeing the implementation of the data compliance strategy. This includes coordinating with business divisions and infrastructure functions to enhance all aspects of data management within the Corporate Bank, including Metadata, Lineage, Data Quality, Data Sourcing, Data Provisioning, Accountability, and Governance.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) to facilitate business compliance with Data Management policies and strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as the liaison for coordination between the Chief Data Office, CB business data leaders, and Cross Council representatives.
  • Encourage a culture focused on data management, promoting the importance of data and fostering self-responsibility and accountability through training and coaching.
  • Assist in the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Management Reporting for Councils, committees, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track Corporate Bank-wide Risk, Regulatory, and Audit Commitments to ensure transparency for senior management.
