About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Consultant to join our team at Trimble. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in helping our customers achieve their logistics goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consulting services to our customers, assisting them in optimizing their logistics operations and improving their supply chain efficiency.
- Analyze historical shipment and rate data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work with customers to set up and manage their transportation requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs).
- Develop and implement customized logistics solutions to meet the unique needs of our customers.
- Collaborate with our international team to provide global support to our customers.
- Conduct training sessions for our customers on the effective use of our logistics software.
- Support other departments within Trimble, such as sales, marketing, and product management, with project and customer information.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, preferably with a transportation carrier.
- Experience in tender management or transport purchasing is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of RFP processes and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in English and French; proficiency in German and/or Spanish is an advantage.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Goal-oriented work style and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
