Regional Financial Manager

Job Title: Regional Controller

As a key member of the LMI Technologies Finance team, the Regional Controller will play a critical role in ensuring the financial operations of the company's EMEA regional operations run smoothly. This includes monthly closing and reporting, review of internal controls and processes, and oversight of payroll, tax, transfer pricing, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the regional accounting function, including financial, treasury, disbursements, payroll, cost, and tax accounting.
  • Ensure timely and qualitative filings, including tax-compliance schedules and European VAT returns.
  • Represent the Finance function in the EMEA region and ensure operational business needs are met.
  • Maintain a positive, collaborative environment, providing staff with development and career opportunities.
  • Travel approximately 25% of the time, primarily within Europe, with occasional travel to other regions as necessary.
Requirements:
  • University degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Professional accounting designation.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in financial management and leadership roles, ideally with work experience in Germany.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Experience in managing a geographically dispersed team and regional exposure.
  • Proficient in English, both verbally and written. Fluency in German is considered an asset.
  • Self-motivated, high attention to detail, accuracy, and strong technical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
