Cluster Financial Director

A leading hotel group with a strong presence in Germany is seeking a skilled Cluster Financial Controller to oversee financial operations at two prime locations: a 273-key hotel in Hamburg and a 102-key corporate-focused property in Munich. This role will primarily focus on the Hamburg property (75%) but will also involve work related to the Munich site (25%).
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a strategic business partner for hotel teams, providing financial insights and guidance.
- Manage relationships with outsourced accounting services to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Review profit & loss statements prepared by third parties and ensure compliance with all financial standards.
- Oversee accounts receivable, resolving issues and forwarding them to the appropriate parties.
- Play a key role in balance sheet integrity, with a focus on German VAT and compliance with local financial regulations.
- Proficiency in German (B1/B2) and English (B1/B2).
- Experience as a Financial Controller within the hospitality industry.
- Proven ability to manage and work with external partners to ensure smooth financial processes.
