Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated General Ledger Accountant to join a prominent organization in the manufacturing sector. This role offers a competitive compensation package and the flexibility of working remotely up to 40% of the time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Responsible for the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
  • Transaction Review: Conduct thorough reviews and postings of various business transactions.
  • Account Management: Perform account analysis and maintain the integrity of the General Ledger.
  • Intercompany Support: Assist in executing intercompany reconciliations.
  • Tax Reporting: Prepare advance sales tax returns, applications for input tax refunds, and Bundesbank reports.
  • Internal Controls: Document and ensure compliance with internal controls within the General Ledger.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide support to the accounting department as needed.
Qualifications
  • Completed training as a General Ledger Accountant or a related field.
  • Relevant professional experience in general ledger accounting, ideally within a group environment.
  • Fluency in German and proficiency in English.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with SAP software.
  • A flexible, team-oriented approach to work.
