Senior Flight Test Engineer

As a vital member of our Flight Test Team, you will leverage your technical and operational expertise in Electric Propulsion Systems (EPS) to facilitate both Ground and Flight tests for various configurations, including crewed and uncrewed aircraft.
Your role will primarily focus on collaborating with engineering and EPS rig testing teams to enhance our flight testing processes, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality readiness for tests. You will also oversee activities related to the aircraft Digital Mock-Up (DMU). In your capacity as a Senior Flight Test Specialist Engineer, you will mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the planning, monitoring, and optimization of Ground and Flight Test activities aimed at the development and certification of electric aircraft, focusing on EPS.
- Assist in the preparation, inspection, and repair of aircraft before and after tests.
- Manage the mechanical integration of Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) systems into the aircraft and coordinate interfaces with relevant systems.
- Participate in the assessment and documentation of tests, including troubleshooting and the development of standardized analysis and reporting tools.
- Contribute to engineering projects that necessitate technological advancements and related development efforts.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
- Over 15 years of experience as an Engineer engaged in aeronautical development and certification processes.
- Proficiency in electric propulsion systems.
- Experience in planning, monitoring, and evaluating propulsion systems testing.
- Familiarity with Siemens NX or other CAD design and query tools.
- Professional-level knowledge of the English language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in rotorcraft flight testing.
- Experience in Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO).
- Experience as a Material Review Board (MRB) Liaison Engineer or as a Flight Test Analysis Engineer.
