Within BMW Group IT in Munich, we are responsible for designing, developing, and managing cutting-edge applications for the global Sales Parts network. Our mission is to deliver top-tier IT solutions for BMW Sales Parts Warehouses, addressing the demanding requirements that arise from one of the automotive industry's leading warehouse management processes.
What you can expect:
- You will design, develop, and manage critical production applications as part of a dedicated feature team.
- You will oversee essential project management processes and documentation to guarantee successful project outcomes.
- Collaboration with various teams will be key as you help shape our new IT landscape based on SAP S/4 HANA or refine our existing systems utilizing SAP ERP/EWM.
- Your role will involve coordinating IT and provider resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective projects.
- You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the relevant business processes, functions, roles, and regulations.
- In partnership with our business department, you will define logistics warehouse processes and implement them in modern SAP S/4 HANA applications, including SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), SAP TM (Transportation Management), or SAP ERP WM (Warehouse Management).
- You will collaborate with enthusiastic BMW teams worldwide to share knowledge and help shape the future of BMW Group IT.
What you should bring:
- A university degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Mathematics with a focus on IT or a related field.
- Extensive experience in SAP implementation within warehouse management processes.
- Familiarity with modern software architecture and agile software development methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA EWM and/or WM/TM Modules.
- Ideally, proficiency in ABAP and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Experience in leading cross-functional workshops involving IT and business stakeholders.
- Proficient written and spoken skills in both German and English.
