Overview

We are seeking a dedicated "Project Manager S/4 HANA PLM Business (f/m/d)" to join our team in the Ulm area. This role is pivotal in the domain of Change and Configuration Management, ensuring that all configuration management processes are effectively implemented throughout the project lifecycle while adhering to contractual obligations. The aim is to achieve project and product objectives within the defined performance, timeline, and budget constraints, minimizing risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary representative for all business requirements within the S/4 HANA initiative.
  • Oversee technical management and coordinate all project management functions alongside the IM project manager and external partners.
  • Facilitate coordination of all project activities across the involved PLM workstreams.
  • Ensure comprehensive project planning and adherence to project objectives regarding timelines, costs, and quality standards.
  • Establish project priorities and deliverables while evaluating scope, effort, and associated risks.
  • Manage resource allocation and coordinate the necessary capacities with relevant departments.
  • Assess the requirements stemming from the S/4 HANA PLM workstreams.
  • Guarantee the acceptance and utilization of processes and tools within the organization.
  • Provide regular updates to project sponsors and implement necessary actions based on feedback.

Willingness to undertake occasional business travel is essential.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in (business) informatics or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in project management with a solid methodological foundation.
  • Proficient knowledge of SAP PLM (Product Life Cycle Management).
  • Significant experience in leading interdisciplinary project teams.
  • Experience with SAP transformation initiatives, particularly regarding the transition to S/4HANA.
  • Familiarity with development and design processes is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with a results-driven and organized approach.
  • High adaptability and flexibility.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English.
