About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing manufacturing data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that impact ink quality and production efficiency. You will work closely with our data science team to identify new business use cases and present them to our business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities for improvement in ink quality and production efficiency.
- Develop predictive models to forecast production outcomes and identify areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven decision algorithms in business operations.
- Present findings and recommendations to C-level executives and other business stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD degree in Physics, Statistics, Econometrics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar analytical context, with a focus on supply chain, customer segmentation, and manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and common BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with cloud and on-premises storage systems, preferably MS SQL Server, SAP BW, and Azure storage services.
- Good understanding of business processes and experience working with enterprise ERP systems like SAP ECC/HANA.
- Advanced programming skills in languages such as Python and R, particularly concerning AI/ML development.
- Familiarity with best practices in extracting, loading, and transforming data to support business quests.
- Fluency in English and preferably also in German.
