Job Summary

The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) is seeking an Evening Program Coordinator to join our team in Ramstein. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing academic and administrative support services to students and ensuring quality assurance standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide academic and administrative support services to students, including documentation and follow-up activities.
  • Communicate effectively with host military Education Services Officers and Education Center staff.
  • Organize and participate in local education fairs, open houses, and other events to promote UMGC.
  • Track and analyze class enrollments and student interest to inform scheduling decisions.
  • Assist with processing students' military documentation and distributing marketing materials.
  • Provide facility support, including opening and closing computer labs and ensuring cleanliness and organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Background in customer service.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with accurate attention to detail.
  • Basic office management and clerical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some college coursework.
  • Valid driver's license.

Who May Apply

Local candidates with Individual Logistic Support (ILS) preferred. Criteria for ILS include serving the US Forces exclusively, not being stateless, and being a national of a NATO state (excluding the host nation).
