We are seeking a skilled Signal Mechanic:in (w/m/d) to join our team at DB Netz AG in Wittenberge. As part of our qualification program, you will start as a skilled worker in the field of Leit- und Sicherungstechnik and progress through several development stages to become a Signal Mechanic:in.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of systems in the field of Leit- und Sicherungstechnik.
• Your focus will be on electronic components such as signals, switches, and interlockings, but you will also learn about mechanical components.
• You will work independently and in teams to complete tasks in your regional area.
• You will be responsible for electrical systems, both indoors and outdoors, and will spend most of your time working outdoors.
• You will also be responsible for de-energizing rail systems and creating and submitting reports.
• Your work will begin and end at your central base, where you will pick up necessary materials, modern equipment, and tools.

Your Profile:

• You have completed a successful training program in electrical engineering, such as electrical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or automation technology.
• After a comprehensive onboarding process, you will be ready to participate in our rolling standby program.
• You are comfortable working outdoors and are willing to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• You are willing to commit to our internal qualification program and have a strong desire to learn.
• You are a reliable and team-oriented individual who is flexible and able to adapt to changing situations.
• You hold a valid driver's license (class B).
