About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect with expertise in Amazon Web Services to join our team at Storm Reply. As a key member of our innovative and international team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and implementing cloud-based solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cloud strategies and architectures for our clients, focusing on the development of innovative solutions for cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
  • Collaborate with our development teams and clients to design and implement global enterprise IT architectures and specific applications.
  • Evaluate planned changes and solution options, making technology and architecture decisions and representing these to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends in the industry, identifying innovations and best practices to further develop our architecture patterns.
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructures and applications, as well as manage migrations, leveraging your experience with conventional on-premise infrastructures.
  • Continuously develop and refine existing best practices, sharing your knowledge with our young professionals.
  • Contribute your ideas and shape the development of our company.

  • Participate in team-building events, both on a local and company-wide level.
  • Hold a successful university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable technical field, and possess at least 10 years of experience as an Enterprise or Solution Architect in complex, heterogeneous IT landscapes.
  • Be an expert in AWS and hold AWS certifications at the Associate and Professional levels.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art data center and network infrastructures, including NAC, DNS, Firewall, VPN, servers (Windows/Linux), storage, backup, virtualization, containers, automation (e.g., Ansible), IT security, and infrastructure as code.
  • Be fluent in German and English, with a willingness to travel occasionally.
