The Software Factory serves as the core department dedicated to standardizing and enhancing processes, methods, and tools across global software development for automotive control units. Our focus encompasses various domains, including software architecture, integration, validation, and quality assurance. What can you expect?
You will lead the design, definition, implementation, rollout, and optimization of software architecture processes, methods, and tools, collaborating with system architecture leads and ECU development projects in E/E to align project needs with a unified baseline. You will shape the future by working on advanced software architecture within a complex automotive control unit landscape. Your responsibilities will include supporting the design, development, and maintenance of software architecture, ensuring high quality, performance, and scalability. You will identify and define software architecture needs, engaging with all stakeholders within the Software Factory and the broader E/E system and software architects. Engaging in discussions on software architecture topics across various software projects, prioritizing issues, and proposing solutions to stakeholders will be part of your role. You will ensure adherence to software quality standards and best practices, establishing a core team to implement necessary solutions.What qualifications should you possess?
A university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive project management, embedded software development, software architecture integration, quality assurance, or testing. Expertise in automotive communication technologies and interface management, such as CAN, Ethernet, SomeIP, and inter-process communication protocols like AUTOSAR RTE. Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies. Excellent communication skills to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, from developers to senior management, with a proactive approach to driving collaborative solutions.
