Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Category Manager to join our team. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for growing our dry goods categories, ensuring we have the most attractive product offering for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to grow sales and margin for our dry goods categories, including assortment planning, pricing, and promotions.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals and develop a strong supplier network.
- Analyze data to inform decision-making and stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including retail media, marketing, supply chain, and hub operations, to drive growth and profitability.
- Identify opportunities for optimization within category management and implement changes to improve business outcomes.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food or non-food industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field.
- Proven ability to make data-driven decisions and drive business outcomes.
- Working proficiency in English and German.
