Diabetes Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Diabetes Specialist (m/w/d) for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine to join our team at FRESENIUS_HELIOS_HOSPITALS. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert care and support to patients with diabetes and their families.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide comprehensive diabetes education and counseling to patients and their families, including individual and group sessions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care conferences and contribute to the development of diabetes management strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with best practices in diabetes care.

**Requirements:**

• Master's degree in a relevant field, such as nursing or healthcare management.
• Experience in pediatric diabetes care and education, preferably with a certification in diabetes education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
