Launch Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing local strategic initiatives and industrialization efforts in the production of CTOH mufflers.
• Designing, developing, and executing manufacturing strategies that encompass layouts, alternative assembly techniques, production methodologies, supplier enhancement, production scheduling, reinforcing existing value-added capabilities, Lean Manufacturing principles, and Industry 4.0 advancements.
• Managing the operational aspects of the bidding process, working closely with finance, program management, and manufacturing teams.
• Ensuring adherence to project and industrialization budgets, timelines, and key performance indicators for introductions.
• Facilitating and leading manufacturability assessments and design enhancements in collaboration with various departments.
• Driving continuous production improvements to enhance EBIT performance.
• Maintaining effective communication and documentation across locations and interdisciplinary teams.
• Representing central operations in project core teams and customer interactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in launch management and technical project leadership.
• Several years of experience in production, industrial engineering, or technical project oversight.
• Proficiency in both German and English.
• Skilled in MS-Office and presentation preparation.
• A collaborative team player with strong analytical capabilities.
• Highly motivated, adaptable, and resilient.
• Excellent team spirit and communication abilities.
